A fun cooking workshop in collaboration with talented French-speaking winegrowers, during which you will learn all the secrets to making an extraordinary sourdough aperitif, made with focaccia , crackers , pita breads , grissinis and other sourdough preparations. Share a convivial and gourmet moment, all accompanied by a commented tasting of wines selected and presented by our talented partner winegrowers Jacques and Aurélia Joly from Cave Joly in Lavaux.
You will first be greeted with a welcome drink selected by Cave Joly. Then, hands in the dough with Alexandra from Your Own Bread who will teach you all the techniques to prepare Grissini, Foccacia, Crackers, Sourdough Pita Bread as well as delicious Spreads.
While the aperitifs are being baked, Jacques Joly will take you on a journey through the world of his wines by making you taste 4 wines selected from among his nuggets.
Finally, it's time to taste aperitifs in a friendly atmosphere.
You can even order or buy your favorite bottles directly!
The price includes:
- welcome drink;
- animated workshop from 2h to 2h30;
- Commented tasting of 4 wines by the winemaker in person;
- privatization of an exceptional place;
- non-alcoholic drinks during the course (scented waters);
- tasting of the specialties prepared during the course;
- recipe sheets by PDF.
Optional:
- professionally printed recipe booklet and fresh sourdough to redo recipes at will;
- wine by the glass to be purchased directly from the winemaker during the tasting of the preparations.
For organizational purposes, the event only takes place with a minimum of 8 people and is limited to 12 people. Valid COVID certificate required .

Terms and Conditions: Your Own Bread Terms and Conditions apply to cancellations. If you cannot attend the event, you can however send someone in your place by notifying us at the latest 72 hours before the event, mentioning the name and contact details of the replacement person. After this period, we reserve the right to refuse the replacement person.
